Origo’s own film
We have worked with Origo Film Studio for several years. It is a particular honour when a studio that hosts international feature films entrusts us with its own showcase. For this project, we developed the concept together with Origo Digital Film’s technical leadership: to follow what happens to the footage between the shoot and the finished film reaching the cinema screen.
Several days, across the studio
The shoot connected different parts of the studio by following the footage. We covered both film and digital material, showing how the stages fit into a workflow that can be completed in-house. Across several days of preparation and filming, we handled the full production, from concept development and direction through production and post-production.
Getting the details right
Origo Digital Film’s systems are complex even for industry professionals. Presenting this technology required ongoing technical supervision from Origo: the film needed to be accurate as well as visually accomplished. This is the kind of assignment that drives us — understanding a complex system and making a film that does justice to the place where it was made.
